- They find it fascinating to cover their knees with their shirts and pull their arms in there too: armless-legless bundles.
- Even the mudane is exciting to them: (yelling)"FROSTY THE SNOWMAN! Yeah! Let's sing FROSTY THE SNOWMAN!"
- If you do not let them go to the bathroom right when they ask, it may be too late. Actually sometimes it is too late before they even ask.
- They try to pass off wetting their pants as their period. I wish I would have thought of that when I wet my pants in the 5th grade.
- They love you no matter what.
- They say exactly what is on their mind: "Did you get your haircut Mrs. Blewitt? It looks weird."
- They are overflowing with love: "Mrs. Blewitt you are absolutely, positively nice."
- They feel your emotions: "Don't get stressed Mrs. Blewitt" (as this sweet fifth grader comes and hugs me.)

Glad that you are back! If I can't see you in person, I better at least read what you are up to!
Just wait till you have your own little person talking to you. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!
I didn't even know that you were teaching in an elementary school. How did you get liscensed so quickly?
Sounds like you're in a great school! Here's a funny one for you: I have been subbing in the same second grade classroom for 2 1/2 weeks, and Monday a kid came up to me and said, "I noticed something. Are you pregnant?" Me: "Um, yeah, obviously. (Laugh.) Did you just notice that?" Him: "Yeah." He was proud of that fact. :)
